Open-source AI image upscaler with batch processing
Real-ESRGAN image upscaling model required complex setup and command-line knowledge. Designers and content creators wanted to upscale images without technical barriers. Existing tools were either paid or lacked batch processing.
Built a Gradio web UI wrapper around Real-ESRGAN with drag-and-drop image upload, batch processing support, and easy deployment to Kaggle/Google Colab for free GPU access. Users can upscale multiple images without installing dependencies locally.
Solo developer — wrapped Real-ESRGAN model with user-friendly interface, implemented batch processing logic, created deployment guides for Kaggle and Colab environments.
